Back on March 8, 1994, Nine Inch Nails released their second album, The Downward Spiral. That same day Soundgarden dropped their fourth record, Superunknown. Now, 20 years later, the two are sharing the bill for the very first time for a summer-long tour.
The 23- date tour kicks off on on July 19 in Las Vegas, making stops along the way in Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL, and Austin, TX. The tour finishes up on August 25 at the Hollywood Bowl in California. Death Grips will add support throughout the month long tour.
While NIN are still touring behind their 2013 album, Hesitation Marks, Soundgarden are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Superunknown with not one, but two special editions of the album, both set to be released on June 3.
Tickets for the joint tour go on sale this Friday, March 21.
